An award-winning creative director, author, and public speaker, Jeffrey Rum has spent over 20 years leading strategic marketing, brand strategy, and digital communications for some of the world's most recognized brands and mission-driven organizations.

Jeff has led campaigns for brands like Bose, Fossil, PepsiCo, and Marriott, while also working closely with nonprofits including the Human Rights Campaign, the UN Foundation, and Hillel International.

Previously, he founded and served as CEO of Ignite Digital Strategy Group (Ignite), a full-service marketing firm that was acquired by Creative Marketing Resources (CMR) in 2021, forming CMRignite. Today, Jeff serves as a strategic advisor to the agency and its board of directors.

In 2014, Jeff worked with the Obama administration as a brand and marketing consultant to launch My Brother’s Keeper, a public-private partnership aimed at supporting young men of color through mentorship and leadership development.

As a dedicated community leader, Jeff served as co-chair of the National Young Leadership Cabinet of Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), representing Jewish philanthropy worldwide. His leadership took him to cities across North America, Spain, Mexico, India, Morocco, Germany, Ukraine, Ethiopia, and Israel. He is also a Zin Fellow through Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

Jeff holds a B.A. in Communication: Visual Media & Jewish Studies from American University and an M.A. in International Affairs from Georgetown University. He lives in Bethesda, Maryland, with his three children, Eva, Max, and Ori.
